Welcome to the Cordova Carpe Diem Hotel
The Carpe Diem Hotel is located at the heart of the city of Cordova, more specifically, between the Tendillas square and the Jewish quartier. In fact, we are 5 minutes walk from the Mosque-Cathedral and the main monuments of the city.
This circumstance makes your visits around the city from our Hotel as comfortable as possible, as almost of the city views are a short walking distance.
One of the attractions of the Cordova Carpe Diem Hotel is its terrace overlooking the Mosque-Cathedral and the Cordovan countryside. A place where you can take pleasure in the summer nights at an ideal temperature. In fact, the hotel terrace is the idyllic place to enjoy the coffee breaks during your visit to our city, with wonderful views.
“It takes the whole of life to learn how to live”
The Cordova Carpe Diem Hotel is located just at the city centre, only a few metres from the old part of the city, the Jewish quarter and the most touristic places in the city. Only 400 metres to the Tendillas Square, quite close to the Boulevard Avenue, to the Cruz Conde Street, etc …
We have single and double rooms. In addition, we have a Junior Suite with capacity for 2, 3 and 4 people. All the rooms have wooden floor, heating, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, and all the amenities to make you feel at home during your visit.
Enjoy our terrace with marvellous views of the Mosque, the old part of the city and the sierra of Cordova. The ideal place to rest and enjoy the sunsets. On the terrace, we have a bar where you can have a snack, a drink or whatever you prefer…
Good Location, Modern small hotel
Hotel works as a good base for exploring historic Cordoba. All of the major sites are within easy walking distance. We used public transportation to get to Cordoba and walked from the bus station to the hotel (about a 20 minute walk). I would not recommend this hotel if you are driving a car, it is on a very narrow street and would be hard to find. I did not see a parking area. The room was up to date, clean and well maintained. The only thing I did not like was the frosted glass door on the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
This is a very well located boutique hotel in the middle of the city. We were driving, and like many “old towns” in Spain the narrow windy streets present a challenge. It took us some time going round in circles to find the hotel. Parking is off-site, and upon arrival we were directed where to temporarily park so that we could unload the car. Having done so, the young man at reception then drove the car around a couple of corners to the underground parking station, explaining where he was going and what he was doing, and how to get back to the car in need. It was a great start to our stay in the hotel.
The hotel is very comfortable, and a short walk to la Mezquita, la Puente Romano and la Alcazar. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants are also nearby.
One night stay in Cordoba
We had a very nice stay in the comfortable, extremely clean hotel. The staff were energetic and helpful and spoke very good English. We appreciated that there were signs in the streets directing us to the hotel…in the maze of streets it’s easy to get turned around! Would definitely stay again but would ask for a room not at the front of the hotel due to motorcycles outside the window. If not for that, it would be 5 stars. Spend the few extra euros on the breakfast.
